Party Week
What a great Summer we have shared. Fun, games and laughter throughout, and to top it all off, lots of tasty food. Thank you to all involved, all the children and families, and all of the very special volunteers, who we just couldn't have done it without ❤️ 💙 😊 God's blessings have certainly been with us at the Happiness Hall 🙏🏼 xxx
Week 1
We had such fun on the first of our Praise n Play Summer Sessions. A great turn out of families and friends who all joined in with Nic for fun and games, arts, and dance with Emily and Maisie, our brand new youth leaders. We even had a special street dance performance from our very own gladiator Leo. Followed by a tasty, healthy lunch. A very special thanks to all volunteers. This definitely could not have happened without you, great team effort!!
Week 2
Another fantastic Summer Session this morning in the Happiness Hall. We had skills and drills with Matt, dance with Emily, art with Katherine and our great friend Nic leading the team and making sure this morning was a happy one! The children made fruit kebabs, as you can see they went down a treat, so a great big thank for the wonderful team of volunteers who have supported our sessions each week. Have a great rest of the week everyone 😍
Week 3
Hi all, I just wanted first of all to thank all of our wonderful friends and volunteers who have helped throughout the summer. As you can all see, we have had another successful week, 27 children and their parents, carer's or grandparents. We had our final session with Emily and Maisie, who are both very promising young leaders. We also welcomed Merseyside Re-Cycle, who fixed a few (8) of the children's bikes and provided a great workshop; they even had a customer who was just passing by who managed to get a whole new wheel for his broken bike, right there on the spot! We were blessed with more new families today, four new under 5's for our Praise n Play group, and new families returning week on week. We really are a 'growing church'. I don't know where we are going to put them all, but we are truly blessed that they just keep coming! Thank you Lord for the opportunity to engage and encourage the children and families we meet 🙏🏼❤️
